Child voice over demo – Sam
As the snow melts, it’s time for a spring clean and a new child voice over demo or two, or possibly three! Starting with Sam, aged 9.
Children’s voices change rapidly, and although the intonation and personality remains surprisingly consistent, the depth and clarity evolves. And as a result, child voice over demos need updating more frequently than adults.
We’ve included a few recent UK radio adverts on Sam’s new demo (with a guest appearance from middle sister Edie).
Although Sam’s happy enough to work with me in the studio, and we often self-record and send, Sam really loves to work with producers down the line, via ISDN, Skype or Source Connect Now.
He’s a good listener and sight-reader, takes direction well, and loves to do the odd silly voice given the opportunity.
Sam also has two older sisters, Rosie is 15 and Edie is 12. Both have been recording voice over since they were 6 or 7 and are often available at very short notice.
