Help for ADHD

Access to Work: coaching support for ADHD (UK)

Access to Work is a UK government scheme run by the Department for Work & Pensions (DWP). It supports disabled people, including those with ADHD, to stay in work by funding practical workplace support.

If you have ADHD, Access to Work can provide a grant to cover workplace coping strategy coaching, even if you are self-employed or freelance.

  • ADHD-informed coaching or coping strategy sessions
  • Practical support such as equipment and software
  • Mental health support via Able Futures or Maximus
  • Employed and self-employed people
  • It is not means-tested
  • It’s designed to level the playing field for disabled people
  1. Apply online or by phone
  2. Have a workplace needs assessment
  3. Receive a support recommendation
  4. Choose your provider
  5. Access funding

How I work with Access to Work

I can work with you to provide a clear, itemised quote aligned with approved hours and reporting requirements. I’m happy to talk through what coaching support might look like for you, and how we can make best use of your grant.

ADHD diagnosis and support

If you’re exploring ADHD for the first time, or considering an assessment, it can be hard to know where to start.
I always recommend heading straight to ADHD UK.

ADHD UK provides a clear pathway from self-screening, to GP referral, assessment, and titration (if applicable). They also maintain up-to-date information on referral routes, waiting times, and assessment providers.

Training I recommend

I’m careful about who I recommend. These are resources I’ve used myself and genuinely trust.

The only voiceover coach I recommend. I’ve trained with Nancy, produced demos with her, and booked countless jobs as a result.

If you’re just getting started, or refining your home setup, these are tools and books I genuinely rate.
