Predictable, so you don’t have to be
The Gold Star Club is a membership for those of us who’ve felt, one too many times, that our brains don’t work the way they should. We’re tired of forcing ourselves into ways of working that don’t fit and ready to try something new.
This is a space to discover your own way of doing things, find people who get it, and allow yourself to thrive on your own terms.
Are you so focused on what's still to do, you don't see how far you’ve come?
You’re self-employed, freelance, or working in a way that gives you real autonomy (and frankly, a bit of fear) over your week. You’ve felt different for as long as you can remember, whether or not you’ve got an ADHD diagnosis to explain it. You’ve tried far too many productivity systems built for brains that aren’t yours, and you’re tired of the sense of failure you feel when they don’t work for you.
Trust me, you don’t need another system. Or a (really nice) planner. Or that whizzy Notion template.
You need somewhere to actually do the work.
If you’re after a strict accountability structure with deadlines and check-ins you’re required to hit, this probably isn’t it. There’s no shame here for inconsistency, no catching up to do, and no one right way to use this. We celebrate simply turning up. If that sounds too loose for what you need right now, that’s a fair reason to wait.
Before you even start the work, you’ve already had two wins.
Body-doubling, Monday, 10am–12pm.
Except Bank Holidays, because rest matters here too.
These sessions are reassuringly predictable: a short intro and guided planning exercise, three 25-minute focused work blocks with short breaks between them, a space for Q&A, and a wrap-up to appreciate what you’ve done. We’d love you to have your camera on but it’s not a rule, mic stays off during work blocks, questions in the chat.
Sessions are live and won’t be recorded.
If you can’t attend the live session, there’s an info sheet in the Learning section to help you work it through.
Workshop session.
Each month takes the same basic format.
We’d love you to join live, but if you can’t, the recording and worksheet will be available in the group and you can work through in your own time if you choose.
A space to chat when you want.
Community spaces can quickly become overwhelming. This one keeps things clear and simple.
You’ll find two pinned threads that reset every month:
Natalie will be on hand if you have questions.
What might happen if you focused on what's going well right now?
£25/month, founding member rate
That’s up to 10 hours a month of structured, expert-led support and community for £25.
As the group grows, the rate may rise for new members, but whatever you pay when you join is locked in for life.
There’s no countdown, no closing date, and no fake urgency.
Join when it’s right for you, leave whenever you want.
What if I can’t make a session?
Come when you can. There’s no penalty and nothing to catch up on. But if you can’t make a live session and want help to plan your week, there’s an info sheet in the Learning section to get you started.
The monthly workshop sessions are always recorded and you’ll find the worksheet with the video in the Learning section. If you’ve got questions, just ask in the group. You never need to rely on the live sessions alone. (But we’d love to see you!)
Is this just for creative or self-employed people?
It’s built with self-employed, freelance, and autonomous home-based workers in mind, since that’s what makes the Monday morning timing work. If your working week gives you that kind of control, you’re likely a good fit regardless of industry.
Do I need a diagnosis to join?
No. This is for anyone who identifies with working differently, whether that’s a formal diagnosis, a suspicion, or a lifetime of feeling like the systems around you weren’t built for your brain.
Are the sessions recorded?
Body-doubling sessions aren’t recorded, deliberately. It’s a space to actually be in, not a resource to catch up on later. The monthly worksheet session is recorded, since that one’s designed to be revisited.
Is this group coaching?
No. It’s led by me, Natalie, and I design and host every session. I bring my ADHD coaching experience and expertise in positive psychology along with me, but this is not a coaching group. The Gold Star Club is built specifically for brains like ours as a dedicated space to get things done.
What actually happens in a session?
You show up – camera on or off (gold star ⭐️), you choose something to work on (gold star ⭐️), you work alongside other people doing the same, and at the end you leave having done something (gold star ⭐️). You’ll be invited to share in the chat but you don’t have to.
You’re also welcome to post in the chat throughout the session, or ask questions in the Q&A break, but again, there’s no expectation.
Show up as you are, choose something, do something, recognise your achievement. That’s the whole thing.
If you’ve got a question that’s not been answered here, just send me an email.
ICF ACC accredited, MSc Applied Positive Psychology
I’m an ADHD-informed coach and a professional voiceover artist, and I’ve spent 25 years building a working life around a brain that doesn’t do things the conventional way. My coaching is grounded in Positive Psychology alongside specialised ADHD training, and I work with self-employed and freelance people who are exhausted from trying to force themselves into systems that were never built with them in mind.
I received my ADHD diagnosis in 2023, and I’ve been wearing “unconventional” as a badge of honour ever since.
I built the Gold Star Club because I know that starting my Monday with a few small wins can change the whole trajectory of my day. And scattering little anchor points throughout the week stops me spiralling.
Being self-employed is lonely enough, being neurodivergent can just exacerbate it. Working alongside like-minded people can help me do my best work and celebrating our shared gold star moments is a dopamine delight.
