Radio imaging voiceover for the Cayman Islands

One of the joys of living in this internet age is being able to work with clients all over the world. Radio imaging voiceover is one of my favourite things to do, and this international connectivity allows me to be the station voice for Cayman’s #1 Hit Music Station X107-1.

With previous radio imaging clients I’ve worked via ISDN and they’ve directed my reads.

With X107-1, given the time difference, I self-record. We initially agreed a style, and I now send a few reads of varying tone and pace for them to choose from.

It works really well. I can still offer a speedy turnaround, and somehow the time difference hasn’t prevented us from getting something on air very quickly when needs be.

You can listen live here.

For a wide variety of imaging examples, you’ll find my demo here. And for a snippet of the work I’m doing with X107-1, take a listen below.
